MOST-US, MOST-AS
Ground satellite fixed communication stations types "MOST-US" AND "MOST-AS" are used to build a fixed aeronautical communication network for the needs of air traffic control.
The hardware and software of the satellite communication stations provide for the exchange of the following types of information:
- voice interaction of dispatchers, as well as officials, centers of the Unified Air Traffic Management System among themselves;
- provision of interaction between air traffic control centers: integration of local computer networks into a single corporate network, provision of automation planning processes and other activities of the centers;
- creation of a technical infrastructure for centralized management of airspace use;
- exchange by telegraphic messages of the centers of the Unified Air Traffic Management System, at the same time, transmission of various types of planned and auxiliary information is provided;
- transmission of data on the air situation from sources of information on the location of aircraft in the automation system complexes of the Unified Air Traffic Management System (radar information);
- transfer of voice exchange of the dispatch center of air traffic control centers and aircraft crews, as well as remote control of radio communication facilities;
- voice service communication.
Ground stations of fixed satellite communication have certificates of type No.-no. 497, 498 and 499 and certificates for the production of No.-no. 269, 270, 271, 272 and 273 of the Interstate Aviation Committee. In order to increase the reliability and meet the requirements of ICAO for air traffic control communication networks, the hardware and software for automatic reservation of satellite channels by leased terrestrial ones, such as dedicated and switched voice frequency channels, radio relay and fiber-optic communication lines, and others can be included in the stations.
